Kuala Lumpur traffic |
Thailand is one of the countries in SEA that I always dream about, and finally that dream came true on April 2013. I was joining an exchange program to Chiang Mai, North Thailand and it was really great experience. To get in Chiang Mai, I bought the flight ticket from Yogyakarta -> Kuala Lumpur -> Chiang Mai. Well, that was the cheapest route that I could afford besides, Kuala Lumpur was meeting point with my friends that also joining this program.
I had 18 hours transit in Kuala Lumpur. So, to killing the boring time while transit, we went out to had lunch (but then it became a dinner) and went to the famous Petronas Twin Towers. We took bus (the price is RM 14 for return ticket) to KL sentral to put our luggage and backpack in the locker and get LRT to KLCC (the twin towers location).

I hope Indonesia has a good transportation system like this |
Since that was my first time in Kuala Lumpur, I was so excited to see the famous twin towers. It was cloudy when we arrived, but it doesn't matter for us. After hangout for a moment in front of Suria KLCC Shopping mall and took some pictures, we got into the shopping mall for dinner. I had Nasi Lemak and milk tea for dinner with RM 9.

Nasi Lemak (somehow Nasi Padang much better than this) |
After dinner, we went out to the garden. My friend said, there will be a water show there. I didn't understand and just wondering, what does the water show mean. When we went out to the garden and saw the water show, I was stunned and had no words, it was so beautiful. So, the water show is a fountain show in the KLCC garden with beautiful light and water fountain. I loved watching the colors and water patterns change in the fountain with the music, it was like watching a dance show.
